Bananagram

In Room 11, only a few children got to play the word-based game “Bananagrams”. We played with Miss Bateman for our first game then after that we played on our own. We picked 21 tiles from the banana shaped bag (depending on the amount of players playing), where everyone would flip the tiles facing downwards. When everyone has their tiles faced down, someone yells out “SPLIT!” Then everyone turns their tiles over and starts making words. When someone needs to dump a letter into the bag, they have to pick up 3 more letters to add to their bunch and yell “DUMP”. If someone has used up all their tiles, they yell “PEEL!” And everyone has to pick up one more tile, and they keep on playing until all the tiles are gone. It was such a fun game! By Yuri & Mitchell
