Maths Measurement Challenge

We completed a maths measurement challenge today that involved us following instructions to fold an origami box. Once we had folded the box, we had to unfold the paper and place a post it note in the middle. Then we had to try and figure out how many post it notes it would take to cover the whole area of the paper. It involved using area and fractions - can you work out the answer?

During our library session, Miss B spotted some of our boys doing some excellent reading! Mrs Sutherland (our school librarian) also showed our class a really exciting book by David Walliams called 'The First Hippo on the Moon'. She put in a CD which had someone reading the story in really exciting voices and she turned the pages of the book so we could check out the awesome pictures!
